CH 5: Film

Film for cameras is almost obsoleat in this digital world. In my high school days, I was a news photographer that used black and white film. THe silver on the film reacts with light promoting an oxidation reduction reaction which makes some of the material soluble in water while other parts stay attached to the film. Amazing stuff. This chapter starts to associate our undertsanding of light to the lectrons in atoms or molecules. I will be trying to put together chapters 3, 4 and 5 for you in such a way as you will rememebr the material for many years to come.
